Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
TeHerenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting for a short-term Business Analyst to join the Te Tai Matihiko - Digital Solutions team on a fixed-term full-time contract until December 2026.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure the successful delivery of user functional and data requirements analysis relating to the Universitys platforms.
- Build test processes and scripts to ensure any changes to the interface or application can be tested.
- Liaise with a wide variety of customers key stakeholders and project sponsorsto effectively document visionand scope.
- Use modelling skills to represent process requirements data and other technical information in graphical forms.

You will be a motivated customer-focused individual who can learn systems quickly work well alongside stakeholders and deliver effective training while maintaining high standards of documentation and communication.
Key requirements:
- Experience in working in projects with a strong customer service focus.
- Good knowledge and understanding of technology and its impact on the business environment.
- Proven ability to effectively capture analyse and document requirements and to assess potential solution alternatives.
- Relevant qualifications in information technology design business or other applicable area.
