About the role Mō te tūranga mahi
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic and collaborative Corporate & Finance this role you will help shape how financial information is communicated and used across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data improving processes and transforming financial information into clear useful insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate monthly finance reporting process ensuring it is delivered accurately and on time.
Act as the first point of contact for financial data requests including external queries that require clear and welldocumented responses.
Design and develop new reporting and insights to support decisionmaking across the organisation.
Enhance reporting processes tools and consistency helping the team work more efficiently.
Lead the implementation of data and reporting improvements into business-as-usual processes ensuring clarity and ease of use for report consumers.
Maintain a catalogue of reports and data requests to support smooth workflow management and provide a single source of truth.
Collaborate across teams to deliver meaningful commentary and insights.
Youll work closely with colleagues across the finance team and wider organisation to bring clarity and consistency to financial information.
With a blend of regular financial reporting and ad hoc analytical work and plenty of scope for continuous improvement initiatives this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact. The work directly supports ACC to meet our strategic vision and ensure the sustainability of the Scheme.
The base salary range for this role is $101287 - $142993 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.
This is a permanent role based in Wellington.
About you Mōu
Were open to public or private sector experience and you will need curiosity adaptability and a willingness to learn new tools and ways of working. You will have experience in data analysis reporting and business intelligence with a good foundation of experience in a similar role. A qualification in finance is not essential however proven experience working with financial information is a must.
We will be looking for:
Strong time management coordination and organisational skills.
Clear communication skills written and verbal particularly when explaining complex financial information.
Proven experience in financial reporting forecasting and budgeting dashboards and producing meaningful analysis.
A strong eye for presentation and producing reports that are intuitive for different audiences.
Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships and the ability to gain credibility with senior leaders.
Able to work confidently with financial information and distil it into clear insightful commentary.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with databases and business intelligence tools to extract manipulate and analyse data.
Experience in Power BI (Data Modelling Dashboard Design Publishing and Distribution Data Security) would be helpful but is not essential.
