Synergie Australia is seeking a Procurement Officer Goods & Services (ICT Focus) for a trusted NSW Government department located in Parramatta.

The important parts:

• Pay: $435.00 $482.00 per day Super Duration: 3-month contract from start date
• Hours: MondayFriday 38 hrs per week (7.6 hrs per day)
• Working arrangement: 3 days in office 2 days WFH
• Application deadline:17th February

What you will be required to do:

• Youll support goods and services procurement activities with a strong ICT focus ensuring compliance with the NSW Procurement Policy Framework and delivering value-for-money outcomes.
• Applying knowledge of NSW Procurement Policy Framework including ICT Procurement Frameworks CORE& and ICTA-style contracts
• Validating business needs undertaking market analysis and risk assessments and supporting procurement planning
• Leading end-to-end sourcing and tender processes
• Supporting negotiations to achieve value-for-money procurement outcomes
• Managing contract databases and registers supporting ICT contract management and supplier performance monitoring
• Resolving contract issues and managing variations
• Maintaining accurate procurement records and supporting reporting and disclosure obligations
• Undertaking basic spend analysis to identify trends and opportunities

To be successful in the role you will:

• Demonstrated experience in NSW Government goods and services procurement
• Strong understanding of ICT procurement frameworks and contracting
• Experience managing end-to-end tender processes
• Knowledge of CORE& and ICTA-style contracts
• Strong analytical skills including market analysis and basic spend analysis
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced government environment
