We are hiring two case managers 1 x full time permanent and 1 x 12 month fixed term.

Anglicare Victoria provides foster care for children and young people who are temporarily unable to live at home. Anglicare Victoria is the States largest provider of foster care and plays a vital role in protecting children and young people by ensuring they have a safe stable and nurturing home while their family cannot care for them.

Our new Foster Care Case Managers will be imbedded in to existing teams taking on a mixed caseload which includes Therapeutic Foster Care. The existing team has a positive outlook and works well together supporting one another to generate the best possible outcomes but now with more support from Therapeutic Specialists and key training in CARE and TCIF.

What does a typical day look like

  • Advocating for children in placements.
  • Attending Care Team Meetings.
  • Completing administrative tasks.
  • Making sure every child and young person in foster care experiences consistent appropriate support that meets their individual needs.
  • Support assessment and review of our volunteer foster carers.

Make your mark:

  • Providing children and young people with foster care placements that will support their development and maintain safety.
  • Engage with our volunteer carers making sure that the work you do behind the scenes sets them up for success.
  • Provide case management to childrenand young people in foster care placements.
  • We want to see a passion for working with children and young people.
  • Work collaboratively with DFFH local ACCOs and other services providers.
  • Engage with Therapeutic Specialists who will provide expert advice assessment and support to the carer and child to help navigate the challenges of trauma.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing administrative and compliance tasks home visits and phone calls.

Make it work:

  • You get a salary starting at $100776 plus super.
  • A new approach to working with children young people and carers.
  • Salary packaging is available up to $15900 plus an entertainment card.
  • SCHCADS Award level 5.
  • Negotiable through the increments dependent upon experience.
  • 2 x positions. Full time permanent role and a full time fixed term contract for 12 months.
