About the Role
Synergie Australia are seeking an experienced Process Manager to join a clients gold mining operation in the Northern Territory. This is a senior role responsible for managing optimising and improving operational processes across the mining operation ensuring safety efficiency and compliance with regulatory and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the mining industry and a strong focus on operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and optimise operational processes within the mining operation including extraction processing and plant operations.
Develop implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with safety environmental and quality standards.
Monitor performance metrics identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput and productivity.
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure consistent process execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across the operation.
Support change management initiatives ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
Ensure all processes comply with relevant occupational health safety and environmental regulations.
Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management on operational performance and improvement opportunities.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in process management or operations within the mining sector preferably in gold mining.
Strong understanding of mineral processing workflows mining operations and process optimisation.
Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiency programs.
Knowledge of Northern Territory mining regulations OH&S standards and environmental compliance.
Relevant qualifications in mining engineering process engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
