The Rome Judicial Circuit is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant II to support the Public Defenders Office in Floyd County. This position provides essential administrative and operational support to attorneys staff and clients in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general office and administrative duties including data entry case management filing and document preparation
- Communicate with clients courts and the public as a primary point of contact
- Prepare file and deliver legal pleadings to Circuit Courts
- Coordinate court calendars meetings and travel schedules
- Attend court and meetings as needed to assist legal staff
- Maintain records track office activities and prepare reports
- Support day-to-day office operations including purchasing billing inventory and other administrative functions
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
