Job Summary:
The Senior Consultant provides executive level program management strategic planning and governance support to the US Coast Guard Personnel Service Center. This role leads complex initiatives advises senior leadership and ensures delivery quality across a diverse portfolio of mission support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning governance and executive decision support activities.
- Guide portfolio level program management and initiative prioritization.
- Review and approve all major deliverables for quality and compliance.
- Advise leadership on change management strategies and organizational impacts.
- Deliver executive briefings strategic communications and performance updates.
- Ensure alignment with DHS and USCG policies and strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience supporting US Coast Guard (USCG) and/or DHS (MUST).
- Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or related field.
- PMP or DHS mid level Project Management certification.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant federal program management experience or 5 years with a Masters degree.
- Experience supporting DHS USCG or similar national security organizations.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Project SharePoint and performance dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to contribute to growth & business development activity as necessary.
