Job Summary

Electrical (OHL / SS)

Design and review OHL and SS electrical systems in compliance with national and international standards.
Conduct technical assessments load flow studies short-circuit analysis and protection coordination.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings specifications and technical documentation.
Collaborate with project managers contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
Support site inspections commissioning activities and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental regulations throughout project lifecycle.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in OHL and substation design preferably in transmission or distribution networks.
Proficiency in engineering software such as ETAP PSCAD AutoCAD or similar tools.
Strong understanding of relevant standards (e.g. IEC IEEE NEC or local equivalents).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Valid professional engineering license or registration
