Job Summary

Identify evaluate and pursue new business opportunities in alignment with company goals and market trends.
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand market share and customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients partners and stakeholders across diverse industries.
Lead negotiations and close high-value deals ensuring profitability and long-term client satisfaction.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy and identify emerging opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing sales and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
Prepare detailed proposals presentations and business cases for senior leadership and prospective clients.
Monitor performance metrics and report on KPIs related to revenue growth conversion rates and pipeline development.
Represent the company at industry events trade shows and networking forums to strengthen brand presence.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Economics or a related field.
25 years of progressive experience in business development sales or strategic partnerships within a management or corporate environment.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills with a consultative approach.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated goal-oriented and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Valid work permit and residency in Zambia or eligibility to work in the country.
Willingness to travel within Zambia and occasionally to regional markets.
