Summary
Position Summary
To assist the Sleep Center Director in the proper operation of the sleep clinic and provide administrative direction and training to administrative support staff in processing referrals obtaining authorizations scheduling sleep services and support for the sleep clinicians.
Essential Duties
- Leads the work of co-workers providing effective communication direction guidance and resources as appropriate.
- Provides ongoing training of current staff as well as training and evaluation of new hires.
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures. .
- Monitors quality and timeliness of completion for referral processing and obtaining appropriate authorization for sleep services.
- Monitors the accuracy of scheduling of sleep services taking any necessary steps for improvement or instruction.
- Processes the dictated sleep study interpretations for final review and signature. Faxes signed report to correct ordering physician.
- Completes charge entry for the sleep study interpretation and discharges the Affinity account to include working billing reports.
- Keeps abreast of systems application upgrades and opportunities for implementing efficiencies and/or accuracies for referral processing and scheduling of sleep services.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education:High school Diploma or equivalent preferred. Some college course work preferred.

Salary Range: $22.76 - $30.10
