The Role
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in performance composition and music theory
Supporting pupils musical development and confidence
Contributing to choirs ensembles concerts and school productions
Encouraging pupil participation in co-curricular music activities
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-established Music department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or a related subject
Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong subject knowledge across practical and theoretical aspects of Music
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
