The Role
Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering challenging well-structured lessons
Delivering practical chemistry lessons with a strong emphasis on safety and precision
Supporting pupils with exam preparation and academic extension
Assessing pupil progress and providing high-quality feedback
Contributing to curriculum development within the Science department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject
Experience teaching Chemistry at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching high-attaining pupils
High expectations for behaviour engagement and achievement
A professional organised and reflective teaching approach
