Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join a vibrant and imaginative secondary school in Bedfordshire on a full-time maternity cover basis starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Drama in a school where the arts are valued and creativity is actively encouraged.
Drama is a popular subject within the school with strong pupil engagement and a supportive department.
The Role
Teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with performance devised work and written components
Contributing to productions performances and enrichment activities
Assessing pupil progress and providing clear constructive feedback
Working collaboratively within a creative and supportive Performing Arts department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Drama Theatre Studies or a related subject
Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom and rehearsal management skills
A creative organised and positive teaching approach
Willingness to contribute to the wider creative life of the school
