The Role

  • Teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience

  • Planning and delivering engaging well-structured lessons that promote conceptual understanding

  • Supporting pupils with practical work investigations and exam preparation

  • Encouraging scientific enquiry logical reasoning and independent thinking

  • Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced Science department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A degree in Physics or a closely related subject

  • Experience teaching Physics at KS3 and KS4

  • Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice

  • High expectations for pupil behaviour engagement and progress

  • A professional organised and positive teaching approach
