Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Dartford starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about early primary education and committed to helping children build strong foundations for future learning.

As a KS1 Teacher you will plan deliver and assess engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum. You will support pupils academic progress while also nurturing their social emotional and personal development. Creating a structured safe and stimulating classroom environment will be central to your role.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Assess monitor and track pupil progress accurately
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils including SEN and EAL
Promote positive behaviour independence and high expectations
Support pupils social emotional and academic development
Create a structured inclusive and engaging classroom environment
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and KS1 colleagues
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding progress and wellbeing
Contribute to staff meetings planning sessions and whole-school initiatives
Follow safeguarding health and safety and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1
Have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
Be nurturing patient and enthusiastic
Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be a team player with strong communication skills
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
