Teacher of Geography

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving Geography department and inspire students to develop a passion for the subject.

Your opportunity

We are seeking a committed and passionate Geography Teacher to join our humanities department. We are committed to delivering a curriculum that prepares students for studying Geography beyond GCSE and equips them with the skills to think critically interpret evidence and draw informed conclusions about the world around them.

We are equally happy to receive applications from colleagues who are new to teaching as we are from colleagues with a wealth of experience. So whether you are brand new to the profession or looking for a return to the classroom having spent some time away we would be delighted to speak with you.

You will:

• Be willing to teach Geography across all key stages
• Be enthusiastic and passionate about Geography and committed to improving the life chances of students in their care
• Be forward thinking creative receptive to change and able to work with the team
• Be willing to develop a strong knowledge of the curriculum and its means of delivery
• Have the ability to develop strong relationships with students

The Details

Start Date: April May orSeptember 2026 (Dependant on candidates availability)

Salary: GLFMPR/UPR (Fringe)

Contract: Permanent Full-Time (Part-time also considered)
