Are you detail-oriented proactive and passionate about finance operations Were looking for an Accounts Officer to join our dynamic team at Squadron Energy reporting to the Finance Manager Transactional Services.

About the Role
As our Accounts Officer youll play a key role in managing incoming invoices and payments ensuring compliance with financial policies and supporting reporting and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices customer receipts and staff reimbursements.
Match invoices with purchase orders and ensure correct coding to cost centres.
Prepare supplier payments and staff reimbursements including general ledger posting and online banking.
Reconcile bank accounts and company credit cards.
Assist with month-end processes and financial reporting.
Verify and process employee expense claims.
Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous improvement in accounts payable.
What Youll Bring
12 years experience in an accounting environment.
Strong understanding of accounts payable and basic accounting principles.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Intermediate skills in Excel and accounting software.
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce (desirable).
