About therole:
The Ticketing Officer plays a keyrole in the successful operation of Saltwater and the OldCourthouse Complex. As the first point of contact for visitorsthis position provides exceptional customer service and supportsticketing operations. Reporting to the Venue Operations Supervisorthis position is essential in delivering a professional welcomingand wellâorganised precinct experience.
What youll bedoing:
- Deliver high quality customer service and manage ticket sales across online and inâperson channels.
- Respond to enquiries about events exhibitions and venue hire.
- Maintain a clean welcoming venue and ensure building security when opening or closing.
- Build and manage events in the ticketing system ensure accurate information and liaise with hirers.
- Support merchandise accessioning and assist with event planning and general administrative tasks.
What youll bring to therole:
The ideal candidate will align withthe Citys Values and be able to demonstrate the belowcompetencies:
- Minimum 3 years experience in ticketing or event logistics.
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude flexibility and willingness to support a variety of tasks.
Pre-employmentrequirements:
- Current C Class drivers licence.
- Proof of right to work in Australia
Hours andconditions:
This role is casual and the workingdays and times are expected to vary between day and evening shiftsincluding weekends.
