A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GUEST SERVICE ASSISTANT AT OUR HOTEL
What youll be doing...
Provide a warm professional welcome and ensure smooth efficient check-ins and check-outs
Support the Reception Manager in the day-to-day leadership of the Reception team
Oversee reservations room allocations guest requests and accurate guest records
Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries in person by phone and via email
Take ownership of guest feedback resolving concerns with empathy and responding to reviews in a timely thoughtful way
Liaise closely with Housekeeping Maintenance Food & Beverage and Events to ensure a seamless guest experience
Process payments accurately and uphold hotel standards policies and brand values at all times
Lead coach and motivate the Guest Services team always leading by example.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Experience in a Front Office or Guest Services leadership role within a hotel environment
A welcoming people-focused personality who genuinely enjoys connecting with guests and making their day brighter
Strong communication skills confident engaging with guests and working closely with colleagues across the hotel
Excellent attention to detail particularly when managing guest needs reservations and follow-up
A calm solutions-driven approach with the ability to think on your feet and handle challenges positively
A strong team player who is happy to step in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly
High energy and adaptability thriving in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends
