Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Sydney-based

Hybrid Work Arrangement: 3 days in the office 2 days working from home

Reporting to: Digital Marketing Manager

Salary: $75000$85000 superannuation

What youll be doing day to day

You will be the person who keeps APCOs marketing and communications engine running smoothly. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager youll support digital brand and communications activities through strong coordination and follow-through.

Your work will include:

  • Email marketing and CRM support via Salesforce.
  • Assisting with email campaign setup and sends.
  • Supporting segmentation contact management and data hygiene.
  • Uploading and maintaining website content via WordPress and Salesforce.
  • Conducting research and benchmarking to support campaigns.
  • Making sure communications are accurate compliant and well targeted.
  • Digital content and inbox coordination using the Microsoft Suite.
  • Scheduling approved content across social media using a scheduling app.
  • Monitoring engagement and flagging anything that needs attention.
  • Managing shared inboxes and responding or triaging enquiries.
  • Keeping clear records to support reporting and governance.
  • Content research and asset coordination.
  • Drafting simple digital content and updates.
  • Coordinating assets approvals and timelines so projects stay on track.

  • Enjoys working with systems spreadsheets and schedules.
  • Has strong attention to detail and pride in accuracy.
  • Is comfortable juggling multiple tasks without dropping the ball.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally even when things are busy.
  • Cares about sustainability and want your work to mean something.

Experience were looking for

  • Two years experience in marketing communications digital or a similar coordination role.
  • Exposure to email marketing platforms CRM systems or databases.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and website CMS platforms.
  • Strong written communication skills and a good feel for digital tone.
  • Confidence working with data reports and admin tasks.
  • A qualification in marketing communications or a related field is helpful but not essential.
