The Role

Please note this position can be based in either Melbourne VIC or Gold Coast QLD. Other locations in proximity to a CHL office negotiable.

Were seeking a Contracts & Compliance Officer to support the delivery of compliance and funding outcomes across CHLs Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) portfolio. Reporting to the SDA Program Manager this role is responsible for managing SDA payment claims maintaining high-quality compliance documentation and ensuring all activities align with legislative regulatory and organisational requirements.

Youll work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to support strong governance accurate reporting and continuous improvement while contributing to a positive customer-focused team culture.

What youll do:

  • Verify update and maintain SDA compliance documentation to ensure accuracy and legislative alignment
  • Manage high-quality compliance data across systems to meet reporting and audit requirements
  • Prepare lodge and reconcile SDA payment claims and invoices including resolving discrepancies
  • Calculate and reconcile plan funding and CPI changes against NDIS records
  • Respond to enquiries from regulators and stakeholders with clear accurate and professional communication
  • Contribute to the review and improvement of policies procedures and compliance processes
  • Provide administrative and operational support to enable team efficiency and organisational priorities
  • Promote a safe inclusive and respectful workplace aligned with CHL values and WHS requirements

What youll bring:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in compliance property or a similar administrative or technical role
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks including SDA requirements Residential Tenancies and Residential Services legislation across multiple jurisdictions
  • High-level proficiency in Excel and property or compliance management systems
  • Strong analytical numerical and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience liaising with diverse stakeholders
  • A proactive collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement

Bonus points for:

  • Experience using the NDIS portal or similar claims systems
  • Experience working across regulated environments or complex compliance frameworks
