Position requirements:
Assist in the preparation of a variety of pastries dessert and baked goods for buffet according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
Support mise en place for daily service ensuring all components are ready accurately measured and efficiently organized.
Ensure consistent taste texture and visual presentation of all pastry and dessert items upholding luxury appearance standards.
Maintain a clean organized and safe workstation at all times ensuring readiness for service periods.
Follow instructions and guidance from the Head Pastry Chef and collaborate seamlessly with the broader kitchen team.
Perform other pastry department duties as assigned to support efficient operations.
Minimum 23 years experience in pastry or bakery production preferably in a hotel resort or luxury restaurant setting
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented kitchen environment following instructions and maintaining standards under pressure.
Requires good communication skills both verbal and written
