- Support pricing initiatives to explore develop both internal and external data/modelling capabilities
- Provide technical support on model methodologies and their implementation
- Sydney OR Melbourne CBD location hybrid office/ work from home
- Permanent role
The purpose of the Senior Pricing Analyst role is to develop and execute pricing models across a range of products and covers in SME PackagesResidential Strata and Non-Fleet Motor businesses and provide data science expertise and advice to continuously innovate simplify and automate current pricing and analysis solutions within a dynamic environment across the pricing family.
What youll do:
- Integrate data science capabilities with traditional pricing methods to deliver recommendation to varied stakeholders
- Develop and integrate Commercial data capability and pricing insights across all Commercial Insurance products
- Development of pricing frameworks for improved risk selection to achieve business goals
- Develop pricing recommendations and proposals designed to closely align pricing strategy to each of the brands budget and implement price changes timely and accurately within the business/function.
- Execute commercial data capability by maintaining existing Commercial pricing infrastructure as well as supporting the build of modelling ready datasets.
What youll bring:
- Minimum of 2 years pricing experience preferably in the General Insurance industry working closely with end to end solutions
- Demonstrable knowledge of Australian GI market
- Experience of Suncorps processes Commercial data structure projects and initiatives strongly preferred
- Proven ability to engage in a team to achieve individual team and divisional goals
- Preferably a minimum of 3 years experience working as a senior analyst in similar domain
- Experience mentoring junior members of staff preferred.
