Behind every consistent support every calm shift change and every moment of continuity for a participant there is a roster that works. As the NDIS Rostering Officer your work may happen behind the scenes but its impact is felt every day by the people we support and the teams who show up for them.
This role sits at the heart of service delivery. By coordinating rosters with care accuracy and responsiveness you help create stability for participants and confidence for frontline staff. When plans change or pressure builds your ability to bring order clarity and calm makes a real difference. Your contribution supports quality safety and wellbeing across the organisation. It is work that matters even when it is not always visible and it plays a vital role in ensuring people receive the right support at the right time. Please note that this role could be based at either Brisbane Ipswich Loganholme Toowoomba Gold Coast or Caboolture.
Your day will include:
  • Coordinating and maintaining staff rosters that support continuity of care
  • Responding to changes and short notice staffing needs with calm and clarity
  • Communicating clearly with support workers and internal teams
  • Maintaining accurate staffing and rostering records
  • Supporting payroll and administrative processes that keep services running

You Will Need:
  • A four year degree in a human services related field with at least one year of relevant experience or less formal qualifications combined with substantial and relevant experience.
  • Experience in rostering scheduling workforce coordination or administrative support within human services disability mental health or a comparable service delivery environment with an understanding of service agreements schedules and program requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities respond to change and maintain accuracy in time sensitive environments using organisational systems and digital tools to support coordination and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills with experience working collaboratively with staff colleagues and stakeholders to support clarity continuity and quality service delivery.
  • The ideal candidate is organised dependable people focused and calm under pressure with a genuine understanding of the impact their work has on others.
