Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Operates a personal computer (PC) and peripheral equipment to produce a variety of civilian and military correspondence spreadsheets charts reports and graphs using a wide variety of software programs. Provides assistance to the Center Director and/or Assistant performing a variety of administrative reporting and control accounting duties at the Center. Typical assignments but not all inclusive involve providing information to parents regarding the operations at the Center and fee structure entry requirements waiting lists etc. and may provide parent tours of the facility handling and resolving parent concerns referring difficult situations to superiors scheduling classroom staff substitutes; maintaining classroom attendance records and controlling files of CDC program participants. Compiles and prepares various reports such as tuition payments administering and reconciling change funds ordering office supplies initiating work orders and preparing requisitions. Maintains time and attendance records and reporting. Performs research for Director and/or Assistant involving special one time and recurring reports on Center program operations. Operates PC using graphics applications to produce various graphic materials as required. Proofreads all prepared correspondence and checks and checks for completeness and conformance to applicable instructions and regulations.
May type and prepare statistical data sheets with the use of PC using Microsoft Office or similar software.
Performs other related duties as assigned. (Note: Position involves frequent work interruptions and incumbent is expected to manage priorities make adjustments without direction and ensure office continuity in absence of Director/Assistant.)
EVALUATIONS:
One to two years of experience in the operation of a personal computer and peripheral equipment. Knowledge of a variety of integrated software programs. Knowledge of general clerical procedures with ability to organize and maintain office work activities and systems; experience or potential to deal in problem solving situations as they relate to customer service and satisfaction; and ability to communicate orally and in writing.
