Role Summary
This position requires a strong QA Automation professional to support a fast-paced Agile environment. The candidate will lead testing efforts across multiple projects coordinate with UAT teams IT teams and external stakeholders and deliver automation solutions for sprint-based development. The ideal candidate will have deep functional and automation testing experience with strong exposure to Selenium APIs SQL Unix and DevOps tools while supporting end-to-end testing across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead testing efforts for multiple projects while coordinating with User Acceptance IT and external teams to deliver automation for Agile sprint iterations. Scope design implement and maintain automated and manual test scripts for application and regression testing. Maintain and configure non-production environments and troubleshoot environmental issues. Work closely with DBA teams to manage data refresh and test data setup across environments. Partner with business UAT teams and third-party vendors to ensure testing is completed on time with required signoffs.
Test business processes across applications using end-to-end process flows. Manage defect escalations with developers regarding priority fixes and closure. Create and monitor test plans covering scalability security functionality and usability. Plan testing strategies and customize testing methods per project. Implement execute and capture results from test cases and scripts. Apply Test-Driven or Behavior-Driven methodologies and work within Agile/Scrum environments. Use DevOps tools for CI/CD pipeline support and debugging activities.
Must Have Skills
5 years of QA Automation using Selenium SOAPUI/Postman qTEST Java TestNG Web Services XML REST API Testing Unix.
6 years of Functional Testing experience.
4 years working with Oracle and writing SQL queries.
Hands-on exposure to Unix/Linux and scripting tools.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication estimation and time-management skills.
Desired Skills
Functional knowledge of Order Provisioning and Billing in Telecom environments.
Exposure to DevOps tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
Experience with open-source tools and cloud environments.
AI/ML exposure in test automation is a strong plus.
Education
Bachelors Degree or higher.
