As aSenior Engineer in Automationyou will be responsible for hands-on Automation & Controls supporting a live health and nutrition manufacturing plant focused on troubleshooting reliability and small-to-medium automation improvements. The engineer will work closely with operations maintenance and engineering to improve control system performance & sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support plant operations by troubleshooting automation instrumentation and control issues.
- Own small-to-medium automation improvements from concept through implementation.
- Improve reliability standardization and documentation of control systems.
- Work closely with process engineers maintenance IT/OT and operators.
- Reduce reliance on external contractors by building in-house capability.
You Bring:
- Bachelors degree in chemical industrial mechanical engineering (or related technical discipline) required.
- 4-8 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering.
- Strong PLC and/or DCS experience (Emerson DeltaV experience is a plus but not required)
- Comfortable troubleshooting live production systems under real-world constraints
