THIS IS AN NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a HR SPEC (MILITARY) TITLE 32 PERMANENT Position Description Number D1118P00 and is part of the NH ARNG Recruiting National Guard.

The purpose of the position is to serve as program support to the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Strength Manager. The mission is to adhere to the three tenets of the Strength Maintenance Program: recruitment retention and attrition of all Health Care Chaplain and Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) professionals within the state.
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is a Title 32 Indefinite excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing states National Guard.
Military Grades: Officer 01 to 03; Warrant Officer WO1 to CW4; Enlisted E5 to E9
Compatible Military Assignments: MOS IMMATERIAL
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experiences gained through military or civilian technical training schools within the human resources business programs are included as general experience qualifications. An applicant must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provided a basic working knowledge of National Guard missions organizations and personnel programs. Must have a basic knowledge and experiences of personnel programs gained in a classroom or as an on-the-job trainee. Have knowledge-based competency of human resources business elements and can discuss terminology concepts principles and issues related to this competency. Experienced in using references and resource materials and experienced in program functions such as maintaining personnel records counseling or classification and assignments. Experiences may include performing personnel functions associated with preparing and maintaining manual records personnel classification or usage quality force management managing personnel records and researching record data. Experienced in operating a computer and using varied computer programs. Experience in human resources programs related to Strength Maintenance Program: recruitment retention and attrition of all Health Care Chaplain and Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) professionals within the state. Must have knowledge to serve as a principle point of contact for applicants and other interested parties during the recruiting and application process.
It is not necessary for applicants to possess the MOS/AFSC listed as compatible to the position in order to apply however applicant must meet the qualifications for the position. It is applicants responsibility to acquire a compatible MOS/AFSC within 1 year of appointment. Coordinate with your units training representative to determine whether or not you can qualify for a specific MOS/AFSC and/or receive training within the 1 year timeframe before accepting the position.
Enlisted: Must have a high school diploma or a general education development (GED) diploma. An undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is optimum.
Warrant Officers: Must have a high school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma. An undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is optimum.
Officers: For Army National Guard Second and First Lieutenants must be actively pursuing an undergraduate degree with at least 90 validated credit hours in a specified program. For Captains and above must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
