Sika is looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our growing team in Gastonia NC. The HR Manager would be supporting our Automotive & Industry business units.
At Sika the HR Manager will play a key role in Implementation and hands-on handling of a wide variety of Human Resources and Facility Operational duties including policies practices and programs to support staffing employee relations benefits and compensation performance management and training
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cost effective recruitment and selection activities to insure a pool of qualified candidates for every open position.. This includes working with the hiring manager to develop selection criteria prepare job requisitions prepare and post internal job postings
- Analyze headcount turnover and other personnel statistics and make recommendations for new/revised policies and procedures regarding employment
- Recommends policy practice and procedure revisions.
- Administer all related workflows for increases promotions transfers terminations performance appraisals etc.; maintain all related records in the HRIS system and files
- Oversees and drives Salary Administration and Performance Review process as well as Talent Management annually
- Manages the relocation process for new employees working with other HR leaders globally as needed and with the Compensation Team
- Directs employee development efforts and training agendas in alignment with the Operations Team
- Sponsors Employee Relations events and spearheads volunteer activity agendas to support the corporate goals
- Works closely with the site Safety Manager to support Sikas Safety Policy and implementation of all initiatives and safety programs
- Provides Human Resource policy interpretation for all employees.
- Maintains all employment records including: Employment files Medical files Training Logsetc.
- Represents Sika Corporation in Workers Compensation Unemployment Compensation Legal and Community matters.
- Coordinate all separations from employment and conducts exit interviews.
- Supervises Human Resources department employees.
Qualifications :
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field and a minimum of 5-7 years of solid Human Resouces experience. Detail oriented professional.
- Proven leadership and organizational experience. PC literate with our prevailing software and systems.
- Experience with ADP and Success FActors preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving ability. Dedicated to customer satisfaction and excellent interpersonal skills.
