Vice-Director of Design (Hotels)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the design team fostering a culture of creativity collaboration and excellence.
- Oversee all design phases of construction projects from conceptualization to completion ensuring they meet client requirements regulatory standards timelines and budgets.
- Develop and implement cutting-edge design concepts for high-rise buildings hotels and resorts ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including architects engineers contractors and clients to ensure cohesive and integrated project execution.
- Maintain and enforce high standards of design quality and consistency across all projects.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall vision and direction of the companys design initiatives.
- Manage project budgets optimize resource allocation and ensure cost-effective design solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in design and construction to continually enhance the companys design capabilities.
- Experienced in planning and managing large scale projects (>50ha) such as new urban areas resorts etc...
- Other tasks as assigned by the company executives
Qualifications:
- At least 15 years of experience in design management for 5-star international standard hotels or resorts.
- Experienced in design at foreign design consulting firms or in design management at enterprises as an investor.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture Interior Design Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Expertise in design software such as AutoCAD Revit SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
