We are seeking an experienced Director Finance Hotel Operations to join our office in Ho Chi Minh City this pivotal role you are responsible for working closely with respective hotel finance teams to drive for better transparency in financial information in compliance with Group guideline improving internal control procedure and governance compliance in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
The position has direct responsibility for overseeing the financial reporting of Accors hotel operations (Premium-Mid scale & Economy brand) in Vietnam Philippines Maldives Thailand Cambodia Laos Myanmar and other country as assigned.
In addition to above he/she will provide support to management of analyzing Hotel financial performance within the region and working with management and hotel teams to improve performance.
Financial Management
- Correct implementation of policy procedure internal audit corporate governance and accounting principles
- Maintain financial and insurance records according to established/required standards
- Annual Business Plan and Budgets Assist Head of Finance / VP Operations in reviewing Operating and Capex budgets for all hotels
- Regional Reporting Analysis of Variances Contingency Action planning with business units
- Streamlining Resources/Cost Savings Plans to improve Hotel GOP and Hotel ensure budgets targets are achieved
- Hotel Cash management and credit collection issues and work with teams to plan and implement action plans
Financial Support
- Supporting the local finance teams of hotels in their region.
- Provide advice and guidance to the local finance teams of hotels in their region.
- Ensuring hotels adhere to established Internal Control standards.
- Analyzing monthly results and identifying business development and profit improvement opportunities in conjunction with VPOS and Operations teams.
- Reviewing Hotel budgets forecasts and Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Recruitment development and mentoring of hotel Financial Controllers/Finance Leaders in their region.
- Overseeing hotel openings and re-branding projects in portfolio.
- Support hotels on pre-opening providing guidance to the Financial Controller or assisting the GM to prepare the operating budget in the absence of Financial Controller.
- Review system set up and accounts reconciliation 3 month after opening to ensure that the hotels are being set up and opened according to Accor standards.
- Support consultative advice to Head of Finance Hotel Operations- Asia on all financial matters strategy and planning for region.
- Liaise with hotel owners and representatives when required in conjunction with Operations team
Qualifications :
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting with a CPA or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant financial experience in the hotel industry in a senior level finance position with demonstrated leadership
- Knowledge of finance accounting budgeting and cost control principles including generally accepted accounting principles
- Hotel Industry knowledge Director of Finance of a large scale hotel
- Familiar with the Asia local business landscape and practices

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans across both mid- and long-term horizons
- High level of personal integrity and ethical standards
- Strong business acumen with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication relationship-building and networking capabilities
