PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS
1.A masters degree or PhD in engineering or equivalent technical field.
2. A minimum of 10 to 20 years of working experience in product development and design preferably
within an engineering / manufacturing environment.
3. Ability to lead and manage the local team across diverse portfolios / categories. Management of
product development and technical functions including Product & Project Development Innovation and
Application Engineering.
4. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is appreciated.
5. Strong working knowledge of product design (mechanical / engineering) is essential.
6. Direct experience working in device production or similar highly regulated environments.
7. Experience with agile development and product owner teams desired but not mandatory.
8. Experience with Project Management & Lean Tools. Demonstrated proficiency in time and project
management.
9. Advanced with MS tools including MS 365.
10. Familiarity with various manufacturing process (cold forming / turning / injection moulding etc.) is an
advantage.
11. Dynamic / proactive entrepreneur thinking with a structured working style and strong leadership skills.
12. Strong communication skills with fluency in English & German (German desired but not mandatory).
13. Representation of the company in seminars and congresses.
14. Strong intercultural knowledge and communication capability. DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Initiating and drafting annual R&D plans monitoring progress and ensuring execution.
2. Structuring comprehensive R&D plans including regular analysis of competition and market potential.
3. Implementing with the Directors Group a Strategic Plan for the coming years for China and Asia.
4. Annual Budget preparation.
5. Secure develop and strengthening of the company for the defined product group for fasteners and
their automation systems for the different Industries.
6. Leading of projects with the target of high closing rates highly satisfied customers.
7. Collaboration with all relevant divisions and departments within the Organization.
8. Supervise all for technical activities.
9. Implement motivating team structures across the organization with MBO (Managing by Objectives)
approach.
10. HNTE (High & New Technology Enterprise) support / administration is required.
11. Establish Monthly and Quarterly reporting to the MD/CEO Asia.
12. Focus on advanced fastener technology.
13. Other tasks assigned by superior.
