The Nigeria program established in 2018 is headquartered in Minna Niger state. About the Role:

The procurement store keeper will be responsible for executing the procurement stock management activities (receipt storage and issuance to departments (Beverages Stationaries Cleaning Items and IT equipment and or other Store Items ) according to the line managers instructions and OAF standards and protocols to ensure the overall functioning of project activities.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Inventory Management:

  • Receive orders and deliveries identify and report potential discrepancies against delivery notes and reception control or others.

  • Update and/or creating stock cards for all items immediately after checking and reception of goods in the Procurement Store.

  • Maintain accurate stock records and ensure timely stock replenishment in the procurement store on a quarterly basis.

  • Prepare orders picking and packing on time before dispatching goods using the FIFO and FEFO principles.

  • Keep Line manager informed of any problems arising during the work particularly with regard to damage loss and discrepancies noted.

  • Store materials in accordance with the system in force in order to ensure continuous availability ensures that all items are well organized and correctly stored well protected fully identified and easily accessible (cleanliness security access etc).

  • In conjunction with the line manager performing weekly and monthly physical stock counts.

2. Store Management

  • Control storerooms limited access to authorized personnel and ensuring doors and other exits are secured.

  • Maintain proper 5s of the procurement store - Sort Set in order Shine Standardize and Sustain

  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations ensuring proper handling and storage of goods

  • Assisting the line manager with any other tasks.



Requirements

Work Schedule:

This role is fully onsite on a full-time basis and the successful candidate may be assigned as required by the manager based on operational needs.


Qualifications

Across all roles these are the general qualifications we look for.


For this role specifically you will have:

  • Computer literacy to use software efficiently and systems. Strong knowledge on Excel Google sheets.

  • Organizational skills to plan efficiently and prioritize tasks

  • Quick problem-solving abilities to anticipate identify and resolve issues with reception of stock in the procurement store.

  • Strong knowledge on inventory management.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues effectively and stakeholders.

  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving internal customer needs and requirements.

  • Teamwork and Cooperation

Knowledge:

  • BSc/HND in Statistics Computer Science Economics and other related courses with 1- 3 years relevant experience.

  • NYSC discharge certificate required.

  • Technical skills:

    • Ability to use computer and software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace (Word/Docs and Excel/Sheets)

    • Ability to develop and manage store records and stocks with little manager support

  • In line with the job level.

  • One Acre Fund provides employees with a percentage of their basic salaries for housing allowance and child support.

  • Retirement savings: OAF contributes 10% and you contribute 8% of your basic salary to your retirement savings account.

  • One Acre Fund also provides monthly reimbursements to cover work-related costs for transport and airtime.

  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
