Job Description – COO (Plant) Designation: Chief Operating Officer – Plant Industry: Hardware / Metals Manufacturing Location: Rajkot Gujarat Salary Range: 40000 – 50000 per month Reporting to: Managing Director / Owner Role Overview The COO (Plant) will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end manufacturing operations ensuring smooth assembly processes effective team management timely production planning and operational efficiency. The role requires a hands-on leader with strong decision-making abilities. Key Responsibilities & KRAs 1. Manufacturing & Assembly Oversight - Observe and monitor manufacturing and assembly processes. - Ensure quality safety and efficiency standards are met. KRA: Production efficiency defect reduction. 2. Plant Operations Management - Manage daily plant operations and workforce utilization. - Ensure discipline and safety on the shop floor. KRA: Smooth operations minimal downtime. 3. Team & Manager Management - Lead and manage production managers and supervisors. - Set targets and review performance regularly. KRA: Team productivity and manager effectiveness. 4. Order Planning & Priority Management - Understand order priorities and plan production accordingly. - Coordinate with sales and dispatch teams. KRA: On-time order fulfillment. 5. Inventory & Material Coordination - Coordinate for raw material availability. - Monitor inventory to avoid shortages. KRA: Uninterrupted production flow. 6. Quality & Process Improvement - Maintain quality standards for hardware/metal products. - Reduce rework and wastage. KRA: Reduced rejection rates. 7. Leadership & Decision-Making - Act as a strong operational leader. - Resolve operational issues proactively. KRA: Operational stability. Qualifications & Experience - Diploma / Graduate in Engineering or relevant field (preferred). - 8–15 years of experience in hardware/metal manufacturing. - Strong experience in plant operations and team handling.
