As a Community Relations and Events Specialist you will support the day-to-day management and execution of key community relations programs and events that reinforce the Companys goodwill and long-standing investment in our communities. This position will leverage the Companys Community Relations strategy to inform inspire and engage employees in key strategic focus areas and initiatives. The Community Relations and Events Specialist will lead the logistics and planning for Company events including but not limited to Town Halls Senior Leader Meetings and large-scale community events.

Job Description

  • Full-Time Hybrid Role

  • Location: 7 Corporate Drive Keene NH 03431

  • Travel Required

You will contribute by:

  • Working with the Communications team to ensure the editorial calendar reflects a consistent brand and channel voice.

  • Reviewing corporate citizenship materials.

  • Providing content for the website.

  • Project managing the content and design of print and digital communications for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. United Way National Volunteer Month Holiday Good Works).

  • Managing print donation requests submitted by local nonprofit organizations.

  • Designing coordinating and executing annual enterprise-wide community involvement initiatives.

  • Executing the local grant-making program in communities where the Company has facilities.

  • Developing and tracking the annual cash contributions budget and in-kind contributions.

  • Creating and managing enterprise-wide community service and employee volunteerism events (e.g. Earth Day Coat Drive First Book reading events).

  • Supporting the Manager of Communications and Change Management in response to extreme natural or manmade disasters (e.g. tornadoes wildfires) including structuring and rolling out in-kind support and potential employee fundraising campaigns.

  • Leading the logistics and planning for Company events including but not limited to Town Halls Senior Leader Meetings and large-scale community events.

  • Managing vendors and consultants and partnering with community relations organizations.

Were looking for candidates with:

  • Strong project management skills including financial analysis and budget management.

  • Expertise in building relationships and representing the Company to the general public.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills; team-oriented.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; highly detail-oriented and meticulous.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience managing vendors and consultants.

  • Experience with procurement ordering systems and a basic understanding of warehouse operations.

  • 25 years of experience in Community Relations Communications or Project Management.

  • Office : Office Temperature (65F to 75F)
