Job Summary
PowdersvilleMiddleSchoolInstructional Coach for the 2026-2027 School Year
Roles & Responsibilities:
- A Masters in a related field
- At least 3 years of classroom teaching experience in either elementary middle level or secondary (middle level teaching experience preferred)
- Organize and attend weekly collaborative team meetings to assist teachers with planning and pacing of lessons the development of differentiated lessons and ensuring common assessments are being used.
- Participate in Coaching Cycles by informally observing teachers (Classroom Mosaic) and providing feedback for a teachers professional growth and students success.

- Support the instructional development of all teachers in curriculum assessments and data analysis.
- Model lessons in classrooms
- Assist teachers with resources materials tools information etc. to support classroom instruction and planning
- Provide direction and coordination for how the curriculum is taught consistent with District initiatives and recognized best instructional practices.
- Assist in afterschool tutoring program
- Student incentive program
- Run data reports for weekly systems: zero reports iReady goals etc.
- Build strong relationships with teachers administrators and other staff.
- Support teachers and administrators in using data to improve instruction on all levels.
- Fill in with duties where/when needed
