Requirements

Essential skills knowledge or experience

  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate technical inputs into clear audience-appropriate content (e.g. case stories media releases statements).
  • Experience producing communication materials (e.g. photos videos social media cards collaterals) across multiple channels.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple priorities including in fast-paced or emergency settings with willingness to travel and stay in identified areas as required.


Desirable skills knowledge or experience

  • Experience in humanitarian emergencies or recovery contexts.
  • Experience supporting advocacy and campaigns (e.g. briefs position papers campaign materials).
  • Familiarity with resource mobilization and marketing (e.g. visibility materials donor updates).


Required education and qualifications (certifications licenses accreditations etc.)

  • Bachelors degree in communications Journalism Development Communication or a related field.
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience in communications.
