JOB OVERVIEW
The HR Admin Officer supports the daily operations of the project site camp by ensuring efficient delivery of administrative and logistical services for the workforce. This role assists in personnel administration camp logistics accommodation management food service monitoring documentation and employee welfare support in alignment with site policies safety standards and project schedules.
The HR Admin Officer works under the guidance of the Camp Manager or HR/Admin Head and collaborates closely with contractors site engineers and various service providers to maintain a well-organized and safe camp environment in a remote and fast-paced construction setting.
THE ROLE
- Support daily camp operations including accommodation assignments facility upkeep monitoring catering coordination laundry sanitation and waste management.
- Assist with onsite HR administrative functions such as timekeeping headcount monitoring personnel documentation and updating of employee records.
- Facilitate onboarding activities at the site level including orientation schedules document collection and employee information updates.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal teams regarding worker deployment rotations and attendance concerns.
- Provide assistance in handling employee queries minor grievances and basic employee relations concerns elevating issues to the Camp Manager when needed.
- Help implement camp rules safety protocols and disciplinary guidelines across all camp areas.
- Monitor occupancy levels room assignments utilities consumption and service quality preparing regular reports for camp leadership.
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers for camp essentials (water power supplies internet) and support coordination during service interruptions.
- Conduct routine inspections of camp facilities to ensure cleanliness orderliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Support emergency response procedures health protocol implementation and coordination with onsite medical teams.
- Assist the Camp Manager or HR/Admin Head with documentation audits administrative reports and government compliance requirements.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business Administration Industrial Psychology or any related field.
- At least 25 years of experience in HR administration or site-based roles; prior exposure to construction camps or remote project sites is an advantage.
- Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws camp/site operations or construction industry practices is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic HR systems (biometric timekeeping recordkeeping tools etc.).
- Ability to work in high-volume multicultural and shifting site conditions.
- Experience coordinating with third-party service providers (e.g. catering utilities maintenance) is a plus.
- Willing to be assigned full-time onsite with flexibility for deployment in Rizal or Laguna.
