An AmLaw-recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level associate attorney to join its Litigation practice with a focus on health care matters in Chicago.

This role is well-suited for an associate with strong civil litigation experience who is interested in complex high-stakes disputes involving regulated industries including health care and who wants exposure to sophisticated litigation and arbitration matters.

The Role

The associate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on a range of litigation matters including health carerelated disputes class actions commercial litigation and arbitrations. The practice offers meaningful responsibility hands-on involvement in written discovery and motion practice and exposure to complex matters with significant regulatory and business implications.

Ideal Background

25 years of civil litigation experience
Experience with written discovery legal research and drafting motions
Health care litigation or regulatory experience is a plus but not required
Strong academic credentials and excellent writing and analytical skills
Comfortable managing matters with increasing autonomy
JD from an accredited law school
Admitted in Illinois or eligible to waive in
