Job Title: Projectand ChangeManagementCoordinator Intern
Position Overview
National Heritage Academies (NHA) is looking for a detail-oriented proactive and tech-savvyIT Projectand ChangeCoordinator Internto join our this role youwontjust be watching from the sidelinesyou will be an active participant inprojects and large-scale change initiatives helping us deliver criticalenterprisesolutionsthat support our mission of preparing students for success in college and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
As an intern you will gain hands-on experience by:
- Project Documentation:Assistingin the creation and maintenance of projectplans schedules status reports andStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Meeting Coordination:Scheduling project kick-offs and statusmeetingspreparing agendas and capturing concise meeting minutes to ensure action items are tracked.
- Resource Tracking:Helping manage project timelines and resource allocations.
- Stakeholder Communication:Serving as a point of contact for project updates between the IT department and various departments at the Service Center or school leadership.
- Process Improvement:Identifyingopportunities to streamline PMO workflows and contributing to the development of our internal project toolkit.
- Data Analysis:Compiling data for project dashboards to help leadership visualize progress andidentifypotential risks.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education:Currently pursuing or recentlycompleteda degree inInformation Technology Computer Science Business Administrationora relatedfield.
- Project Management Interest:A foundational understanding of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall or Scrum) is a majorplus butnotrequired.
- Tech Literacy:Proficiencyin Microsoft 365 (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint) isrequired.
- Communication Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills; you should be comfortable explaining the why behind a project task.
- Organization:The ability to juggle multiple tasks at once without letting the small details slip through the cracks.
- Mission-Driven:A genuine interest in the education sector and a desire to help schools succeed.
