Job Overview

Tekberry is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager I to support enterprise-level technology initiatives for Stanford Universitys University IT (UIT) organization. This role sits within the UIT Project Management Office (PMO) and will lead complex cross-functional IT projects across a variety of domains including enterprise applications system integrations cloud services data analytics and information security.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects ensuring delivery within scope timeline and budget while collaborating with technical teams business stakeholders and leadership across the university.

This is a hybrid position based in Redwood City requiring a minimum of two days onsite per week.

Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead multiple complex IT projects from initiation through delivery
Develop and manage detailed project plans timelines and deliverables
Ensure projects are completed on time within scope and within budget
Drive continuous improvement through project management best practices

Stakeholder & Team Management
Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams
Engage with sponsors stakeholders and decision-makers across the organization
Communicate project status risks and updates to leadership
Balance competing priorities and stakeholder expectations

Technical Project Execution
Manage enterprise application and system integration projects
Oversee vendor selection SaaS implementations and infrastructure initiatives
Support SDLC-based project delivery across Agile Waterfall or Hybrid environments
Coordinate across domains such as cloud services data analytics and information security

Risk Issue & Change Management
Identify assess and mitigate project risks and issues
Manage scope budget and resource allocation
Facilitate decision-making and conflict resolution
Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives

Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a related field
8 10 years of IT project management experience
Proven experience managing large complex enterprise IT projects
Strong experience with SDLC and enterprise application projects
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project delivery
Experience with project planning scheduling budgeting and risk management
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel Project PowerPoint Visio)

Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification (strongly preferred)
Experience with Agile Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies
Experience with Smartsheet ServiceNow PPM Slack and Zoom
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Oracle HCM or PeopleSoft
Experience managing SaaS implementations and system integrations
Knowledge of data integration application architecture and IT infrastructure
Experience working in higher education healthcare or research environments

Work Environment

Hybrid schedule (minimum 2 days onsite in Redwood City)
May require occasional travel between Stanford campuses or healthcare facilities
Fast-paced collaborative university IT environment
Managing multiple concurrent enterprise-level projects
