Position Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Site Leader to provide onsite IT leadership and operational oversight at our Pleasant Prairie manufacturing facility. This role serves as the primary IT escalation point and strategic liaison between the site

The IT Site Leader ensures the reliability performance and continuous improvement of site technology in a 24x7x365 manufacturing environment. While not primarily a hands-on support role this individual provides technical guidance during high-impact events oversees onsite desktop technicians and ensures successful execution of infrastructure and technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations & Site Leadership

• Serve as the primary onsite IT leader for the Pleasant Prairie location.
• Oversee daily IT operations in partnership with Brainsurf which manages most service requests and escalations across Spectrum locations.
• Act as the escalation point for complex or unfamiliar technical issues that require deeper analysis or coordination.
• Provide leadership and direction to onsite Desktop Technicians ensuring quality service delivery and issue resolution.
• Support critical manufacturing systems operating in a 24x7x365 environment.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support site operations.

Project Execution & Technology Implementation

• Lead and support site-level IT projects and system upgrades.
• Delegate tasks and coordinate resources during major initiatives (e.g. enterprise OS upgrades such as Windows 11 migrations).
• Step in during outages system upgrades or high-impact production events to provide leadership and technical direction.
• Conduct regular plant line walks to proactively identify technology improvement opportunities.
• Support implementation of new technologies including AI sensors and automated manufacturing systems.
• Ensure project requirements are clearly defined documented and executed effectively.

Vendor & Corporate IT Coordination

• Manage vendor relationships ensuring service levels and support expectations are met.
• Serve as liaison between site operations and corporate IT teams.
• Oversee Microsoft tenant management including:
• License tracking and optimization
• Compliance oversight
• Collaboration with Microsoft representatives
• Coordinate mobile device provisioning and onboarding for new Spectrum users.
• Support corporate IT initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment supporting critical production systems.
• Strong understanding of 24x7x365 operational support requirements.
• Previous experience managing third-party IT vendors.
• Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing technical teams.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments (Microsoft ecosystem device management licensing oversight).
• Strong troubleshooting and escalation management skills.
• Ability to balance operational oversight with project execution.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in Pleasant Prairie WI.
• Willingness to participate in on-call support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise upgrade initiatives (e.g. Windows OS migrations).
• Familiarity with AI-driven manufacturing technologies or industrial automation systems.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 tenants in mid-to-large enterprise environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
