SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general supervision the Family Services Collaborative (FSC) Coordinator partners with the Family Services Collaborative Governance Commission and the Executive Director of Community Education to ensure the effective implementation and ongoing success of the St. Louis Park Family Services Collaborative grant program. The Coordinator works collaboratively with St. Louis Park Schools community organizations and stakeholders to identify assets and service gaps coordinate supports for children and families and advance initiatives aligned with the Districts mission and vision including its commitment to Racial Equity Transformation. The role supports collaborative governance grant processes compliance requirements and community engagement to ensure equitable impactful and sustainable services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage collaborative partners to advance the Collaboratives goals by convening appropriate stakeholders fostering collaboration and facilitating sustained engagement.
- Build and maintain partnerships with St. Louis Park Schools (SLP) and community organizations; identify service gaps and coordinate efforts to expand supports for children and families.
- Collaborate with the SLP School District to promote educational resources and professional development opportunities for staff and the broader community.
- Implement monitor and evaluate Family Services Collaborative (FSC) projects and initiatives as identified by the Community Board and School District.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal state and local regulations and policies including accurate financial reporting for the Local Collaborative Time Study (LCTS).
- Coordinate and implement all LCTS requirements including communications maintenance of eligible school district staff lists random moment processes and required reporting to Hennepin County.
- Partner with the FSC Chair to coordinate and facilitate FSC meetings including agenda development and timely distribution of meeting materials and minutes.
- Collaborate with the FSC Board and Director to manage grant timelines establish award criteria and oversee funding processes.
- Work with the Executive Board to facilitate the grant award process notify grantees and partner with the Director to track fund usage and outcomes.
- Lead FSC marketing and communications efforts across multiple platforms including the website catalogs flyers e-newsletters and social media.
- Participate in required or recommended trainings professional development opportunities and networking groups.
- Demonstrate initiative and function effectively as a self-starter with the ability to manage responsibilities independently.
- Promote a positive image of the program by maintaining open professional and collaborative communication with school staff community partners and program sites.
- Serve as an active member of the Community Education Community Outreach Team.
- Serve as a member of the St. Louis Park Mental Health Collaborative.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Knowledge and experience working with culturally economically and socially diverse community organizations groups families and individuals.
- Technology skills and proficiency with word processing communications; e.g. Microsoft Word Excel and Google Suite.
- Evidence of excellent communication data management reporting and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent decision-making problem solving and group facilitation skills.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers clients advocates and representatives from community groups and government agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- The ability to communicate clearly to adults concerning policy mission and procedure both written and orally. Establish relationships with other resources and organizations. Public speaking ability to promote programs to educate the public and train staff.
