Duties & Responsibilities

Our client a solutions provider and distributor of technology solutions has an opportunity for a Support Engineer within the Telco Portfolio (Test and Measurement) to come on board where you will play a key part in providing technical support to Telco Clients using their T&M Solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical input to the sales team during pre-sales engagements.
Assist with understanding customer requirements and contributing to solution selection.
Support demonstrations proof-of-concepts and evaluations of telecoms and Test& Measurement equipment.
Assist with installation configuration commissioning troubleshooting and maintenance of systems at customer sites or remotely.
Provide post-sales technical support to ensure effective use of supplied solutions.
Participate in customer projects by delivering assigned technical tasks.
Contribute to SOPs technical documentation and knowledge bases.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 BEng BTech or National Diploma in electronics preferred or equivalent experience
5 Years Min experience working with Technical Solutions in the Telco industry with a focus on T&M products which will be highly beneficial.
Technical understanding of telecoms environments such as RF IP networks timing and synchronisation and protocols.
