Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and technically astute Presales Engineer to join our team focusing on our suite of solutions encompassing remote connectivity remote management and digital employee experience (DEX). In this role you will be the technical bridge between our sales team and prospective clients demonstrating the value and capabilities of our products through compelling presentations demonstrations and proof-of-concepts. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by understanding customer needs and crafting tailored solutions.
Technical Expertise & Product Demonstrations:
Become a subject matter expert on our remote connectivity remote management and DEX product portfolio.
Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations webinars and presentations to potential clients both in person and virtually.
Tailor demonstrations to address specific customer requirements and pain points.
Clearly articulate the technical value proposition and business benefits of our solutions.
Strategic Differentiation and Competitive Positioning of Product Capabilities
Requirements Gathering & Solution Design:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and technical requirements.
Conduct thorough discovery sessions to identify customer challenges and objectives.
Design and propose tailored solutions that address customer needs and leverage our product capabilities.
Develop detailed Solution proposals and statements of work (SOWs).
Answer technical sections of RFI/RFP/RFQ documents.
Ensure that the answers are accurate complete and compelling.
Proof of Concept (POC) & Pilot Management:
Design implement and manage POCs and pilot programs to demonstrate the effectiveness of our solutions in customer environments.
Provide technical guidance and support during POCs and pilots.
Analyze POC results and provide recommendations to customers.
Value Assessment & consulting
Partnering Sales & Collaboration:
Provide technical assistance to the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
Respond to technical questions from customers and prospects.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including presentations white papers and FAQs.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive offerings.
Work closely with product management and engineering teams to provide customer feedback and contribute to product development
Requirements
Degree in computer science information systems applied computer science or a similar education in an IT related field or equivalent work experience in similar role.
Minimum of 10 years of work experience with at least 7 years of experience in technical selling such as Solutions Consultant Pre-sales Engineer role or Technical Product Manager role or Technical Support/IT administration role.
Experience in selling SaaS Applications RMM Asset Management Observability Remote Connectivity ITSM & DEX platforms.
Hands-on experience in utilizing APIs for Enterprise solution integrations.
Experience in DEX platforms or End point Management will be an added advantage.
Expert knowledge in at least few of the following: SAML Scripting Networking Operating systems Active Directory virtualization Security Protocols Cloud computing
Well versed with Sales Cycle Pre Sales processes Project and process management.
Previous experience integrating with large enterprise IT systems.
Aspiration to constantly enhance and learn about new technologies and concepts - youll be naturally inquisitive and have a passion for technology.
Motivated to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication Documentation and presentation skills
Openness to travelling at least 30% of the time.
