Job Summary

Zonal Sales Manager - FMCG

We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-oriented Zonal Sales Manager to spearhead our sales operations within the FMCG sector in Bengaluru Karnataka. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in strategic planning driving business growth and expanding market share within the General Trade channel.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve zonal objectives and expand the companys market presence.
  • Drive business growth and increase market share across the assigned zone through effective sales strategies and execution.
  • Strengthen the sales ecosystem by fostering strong relationships with distributors retailers and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure flawless execution of sales and marketing initiatives at the ground level within the General Trade channel.
  • Lead mentor and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and challenges.
  • Manage sales budgets forecasting and reporting for the zone.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and operations to ensure alignment and achieve business goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in sales management within the FMCG / Foods / Beverage industry.
  • Maximum of 15 years of experience in sales and sales leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning driving business growth and increasing market share.
  • In-depth understanding and experience with General Trade channels.
  • Proven ability to strengthen the sales ecosystem and manage distribution networks effectively.
  • Strong leadership communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Resides in or is willing to relocate to Bengaluru Karnataka.
