Position: Senior Software Configuration/Release Engineer
Location: Atlanta GA 30030
Client: State of Georgia
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Software Configuration/Release Engineer to automate and maintain cloud configurations and infrastructure processes in AWS environments. This role involves ensuring secure and compliant cloud platforms through effective automation and collaboration with DevOps Security and Infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement AWS configuration management processes using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Support automation pipelines with AWS Code Suite tools (Code Commit Code Build CodeDeploy CodePipeline).
Design automated backup and patching solutions for AWS to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Manage SSL/TLS certificates and ensure secure communication across AWS services.
Maintain documentation of configuration baselines and provide training on best practices.

Required Technical Skills:

8 years of configuration management experience.
Proficiency in Terraform and AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS IAM ACM).
Experience with automated backup solutions and security best practices.
Strong knowledge in SSL/TLS certificate management.
Experience with automation scripting (Python Bash PowerShell) is a plus.
