Procurement Purchase Head

Position Summary:

The Purchase Head will oversee all procurement activities for the ethanol plant focusing on the acquisition of raw materials such as rice and coal. This role is vital for ensuring cost-effective timely and quality procurement to support plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement Management:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the plants operational and financial goals.
  
• Manage the procurement of rice coal and other raw materials critical to ethanol production.
  
• Oversee the purchase of machinery equipment and spare parts for the plants smooth functioning.

Vendor Management:

• Identify evaluate and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
  
• Negotiate favorable terms contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers.
  
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to quality delivery timelines and service standards.

Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination:

• Ensure adequate inventory levels to prevent disruptions in plant operations.
  
• Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  
• Optimize supply chain processes to minimize costs and enhance efficiency.

Cost and Quality Control:

• Maintain a balance between cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
  
• Conduct regular market analysis to stay updated on price trends and alternative suppliers.

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
