What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Identify research and qualify RFP/ RFQs and upcoming projects for go/no go potential
- Direct and lead submittals in response to RFP/ RFQs.
- Manage existing and develop new client relationships
- Perform at a responsible charge level; meeting exps design and quality levels
- Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours
- Work with project team and clients to meet scheduled project milestones on multiple projects
- Apply risk management procedures daily to minimize exps and clients exposure to problems
- Understand MEP/FP/ELV (low voltage) work planning and manage design process to the available hours in work plan
- Understand proper scope of MEP/FP/ELV SD DD CD level documents and deliver appropriate documentation
- Coordinates with other disciplines (MEP/FP/ELV architectural structural specialty consultants etc)
- Edit and develop scope of work narratives (SD narrative basis of design etc)
- Develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases
- Thorough knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical codes
- Advanced equipment selection and analysis(generators UPS units chillers boilers)
- Be able to direct and mentor designer level staff on all of their responsibilities on a daily basis
- QA/QC reviews of all calculations by designers and provide guidance and mentoring
What your experience looks like
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 10 years of building HVAC or Electrical design experience
- 3 years of MEP Project Management experience
The salary range for this role is $130000 to $170000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidates skill set experience certifications and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
