Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead enterprise IT initiatives within a State Government agency. This role involves managing complex technology projects coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring project deliverables align with organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate will oversee project planning execution monitoring and closure while ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management activities including planning execution monitoring and delivery.
Develop and maintain project plans schedules and resource allocations.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers analysts QA teams and infrastructure teams.
Manage project risks issues and dependencies while implementing mitigation strategies.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings project status reviews and executive reporting.
Ensure adherence to project governance compliance and documentation standards.
Track project performance using metrics and reporting tools.
Manage project budgets timelines and deliverables.
Support Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
Ensure successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Information Systems or related field.
7 years of experience managing IT or software development projects.
Experience managing large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.
Experience with Agile Scrum or hybrid project management methodologies.
Strong knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project JIRA or Smartsheet.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP or PMI certification.
Experience managing State Government or Public Sector projects.
Experience managing cloud migration or enterprise modernization projects.
Experience working with software development teams and Agile frameworks.
